I teach electric and acoustic guitar from beginners to advanced.
Lessons are tailored toward pupils' individual needs; whether you aspire to become a professional guitarist or want to play as a hobby I can teach you the skills and knowledge required.
Pupils can sit graded exams (see below for more info) or just learn for fun.

I teach pupils from the age of 8 + and adults of all ages. I am DBS checked and am experienced at teaching both child and adult pupils.
There is the option for pupils to take graded exams. I teach both Rockschool and Trinity Rock and Pop grades . I am experienced teaching students from grades 1-8 and have a 100% pass rate. For more video examples click on guitar grade exams in the menu above.
I provide lessons to both beginners and advanced players for acoustic and electric guitar.
I cater for most styles, including Rock, Blues, Folk, Pop, Indie, Metal.
I have an extensive, range of recognizable songs that pupils can learn. I'm also happy to transcribe and notate any particular songs that pupils would like to do.
Example beginners songs:
Riff from “Wild Thing” by The Troggs
Riff from “Iron Man” by Black Sabbath
GENERAL THEORY FOR THE GUITAR: chord construction, key signatures, notes on the fretboard etc...
I usually teach child pupils both standard notation (as well as tab) and general theory for the guitar. Adult pupils can learn them if they wish.
I welcome pupils who may already play but would like to learn more theory and to read notation.
