I first picked up a guitar 14 years, ago aged 13.  I started on the acoustic guitar and quickly become an adept fingerstyle guitarist. I then proceeded onto the electric guitar with a passion for Indie, Rock and Blues styles.

After leaving school I dedicated myself to the study of music. In 2004 I Graduated from the University of Salford with a First Class Hons degree in Popular Music and Recording and in 2009 I went on to a MA in Music (Composition), for which I was awarded a distinction.

I have now been teaching the guitar for 14 years and I have developed proven teaching methods and strategies for both child and adults pupils.
